The Bonesaw is the Medic's melee and only non-team-colored weapon. The Bonesaw is preferable for close-quarter over the Syringe Gun, as the latter takes some skill to master, also, given it's comparably high rate of Critical Hits, it will most likely kill an opponent with one. It is also frequently used by Combat Medics to rush enemies and take advantage of its crit rate.
